This was done in Townsend TN and can be seen there now.

Seriously…what a waste of good wood. Who in their right mind would actually purchase and display one of those? That could’ve been something actually useful like furniture.

Gary is correct, it is in Townsend, Tn, it is pretty close to Pigeon Forge and all those good attractions. Also Woodless, he also makes plenty of furniture that is not seen, it is mostly inside the building, but he has a lot of sculptures like that, it’s fun watching him at work.

Hey Nicole… have you always been an idiot or is it something that just happened recently?

I think this man is extremely talented and I would be proud to display any of his work.

Sorry, but I have had my fill of kitchy, wasteful “chain saw art”.

No thanks, not my cup of tea.

It is very nice to look at, but why in the world cut down a seriously old piece of natural art (the tree) to chainsaw (polution) it into a nature scene? I find i too ironic

These are so detailed and so beautiful! My husband makes flower planters out of downed trees from storms. Working with trees is alot of hard work. But the look on peoples faces when you are done and your art is exposed is so worth it! Amazing man! You have a wonderful God given talent!

    To Woodless:
So using your logic paintings are a waste of canvas that could be used for sails. It’s not like wood is a rare resource. There’s more than enough.
